Crashes and some good news!
Dear ELECTRIFY-Users,
I got some mails where people complain about a lot of crashes in the current version.
I promise to fix them as soon as possible. Please accept my apologies, I released the last update to quick.
But there's some good news, too. I have just quit my dayjob (no easy decision..) to concentrate on my customer projects and, and that is most important, to concentrate on ELECTRIFY. I would like to push ELECTRIFY further forward in the next months and I also have another project in the queue which should be released in early summer. This new app has a different approach to making music and should complement ELECTRIFY in an inspiring way.

2011/01/22 Next Update
Dear ELECTRIFY-Users,
In the last weeks I have begun to fully concentrate on ELECTRIFY again. I was busy with my iOS lectures in University but since the semester is over, I am happy to find the time for improvements and updates.
At the moment I am more than happy to have just found a switch in the compiler which optimizes the code. This will make ELECTRIFY 2 (two!) times faster! I have also optimized the sound engine. In the end, the audio process now only consumes 30-40 percent of the CPU (before up to 70, which was bad)! I am currently working on a compressor and master EQ. This will come with the next update. I will submit the update in 1 or 2 weeks or so, so that it will reach you mid February.
In the meantime I will hurry to bring you the long awaited midi features. I already got some ideas and I hope you will like them!

2010/12/08 iOS 4.2 trouble
Dear ELECTRIFY-Users,
some people have problems running ELECTRIFY on iOS 4.2. I have prepared an update 2.0.1 which will
hopefully be available next week on the App Store. There are also some new features like an updated clip matrix and a virtual keyboard for entering notes (no live playing yet, sorry).
So please be patient for another one or two weeks for the update to appear.

2010/11/06 What's up?
Fellow Electrifiers! I have been and still are very busy with teaching my university classes about iOS development. But I have continued development on your favorite app. The next update will feature an improved clip matrix with clip naming, a keyboard view, "save as" and several bugfixes as well as performance improvements. In december my spare time will be on a normal level again so that I can finalize the next update. You will have it for x-mas as latest, promised! I have reduced my fulltime job to 80% percent, so next year will bring the long awaited midi features and a lot more.
Thanks for your patience and continuous support! You are the best users I can imagine!

Documentation now available
I finally took some time to write a step-by-step guide to ELECTRIFY. It is a little bit ahead of the time because
it states that the record button is for realtime recording. This is true for the next update which will come in a couple of weeks.
At the moment the record button is needed to set and unset steps. So be patient!
A lot of people were asking "can I do this?" or "how can I accomplish that?". So here is the definitive answer to all your questions!
